This company is the biggest smartphone exporter from India
Apple has surpassed Samsung in smartphone export volumes from India, shipping 49% of the country's total 12 million shipments in the June quarter. This marks a significant increase from its 9% share in the second quarter of 2022. Apple's local manufacturing in India, led by contract manufacturers Foxconn, Wistron, and Pegatron, has contributed to this growth. The company aims to make India an export hub for iPhones to reduce reliance on China. Tata group is also expected to begin manufacturing iPhones in India soon.
