How to maintaining your Electronic Cigarette

Things you should avoid:

• Do not let the atomizer get to hot. Allow a few seconds between puffs. This is the main reason why atomizer stop working.
• Do not store you e-cigarette into your pocket in one piece. If you want to carry it around you should remove the atomizer from the battery and keep it in a case.
• Never use the E-Cigarette while the cartridge is dry. Doing so will destroy the atomizer.
• While inhaling, if the vapor has a burnt taste refill the cartridge immediately.
• Discard cartridges that become dark brown.
• Do not leave the E-cigarette batteries or cartridges in places below freezing or above 120F. Excessive heat or cold will damage the device.
• Do not continue to use a battery if it becomes hot. Replace with a new one.

Basic maintenance for your e-cig:

• Let your atomizer drip dry over night by placing it battery side up on a paper towel.
• A Brand new battery should charge for 8 hours even if the charger says it’s done charging!
• After the initial 8 hour charge, the battery should then be charge for at least 4 hours every time you recharge charge it!
• Always try to keep your e-cigarette horizontal. If it sits vertical liquid could drain into the battery or out the mouth piece.
• Blow out excess juice from the atomizer. Do this by removing disassembling the e cig usually 3 parts: cartridge, atomizer and battery. Strongly blow into the battery side of the atomizer to remove gunk. Gently tap it on a paper towel. This can also remove a clog.
• If you are not going to use the e-liquid for awhile it is a good idea to keep it in the refrigerator.

How to clean an Atomizer:

NOTE: An atomizer will never work like new, they are meant to be replaced on average 1-2 months, longer if you’re an occasional vapor. If the performance of the atomizer is not satisfying after a few cleanings, you should buy a new atomizer.
1. Take the cartridge and battery off the atomizer.
2. Blow through the battery side of the atomizer and gently tap it on a paper towel to get most of the liquid out.
3. Place the atomizer under warm flowing tap water. Fill the atomizer up with water, and then turn the atomizer upside down to empty the water. Repeat this for 5 minutes.
4. Place the atomizer in a cup or bowl of warm water for 15-30 minutes.
6. Blow through the battery side of the atomizer and tap it on a paper towel to get most of the water out. Repeat this until no more liquid comes out.
7. Place the atomizer on a paper towel and let it dry for 24 hours.
8. After you are sure the atomizer is completely dry put a few drops of e-liquid directly into the atomizer. Place a new cartridge into the atomizer and wait a few minutes to allow the liquid to soak into the atomizer.
9. Assemble the e-cig and take a few short puffs until you get a good amount of vapor.
